Based off the original character in the graphic novel, soon to be big movie and comic book, Last Man Standing. Created by extremely inspirational, Danny LuVisi.
This is a little different take on one of his characters, I made it a little bit of my own interpretation. I decided to do a mix of photography and digital illustration to make this piece, which I hadn't seen done yet from any of the work I'd seen based off of his story. This piece brought me back to my roots of how I learned Photoshop, which was so much fun to revisit. The photo shoot and editing time all together topped off at around 12 hours.
The book is going into reprint soon and will be available in summer 2013. If you want to be blown away by pure talent make sure you check out Last Man Standing.
